Our Product Engineering group is growing, so we are looking for an NPI Engineer to take part in all aspects of the product lifecycle from development to manufacturing and be a key person in moving the company’s production capabilities forward.

What you will be doing

Production Tester Design:

  • Writing technical HW and SW requirements specifications for the development and production of automatic tester
  • Management of subcontractors in the test development process including accompanying and participating in engineering surveys
  • Carrying out tests and integrations (hardware and software) against the tested unit

 

Components Engineering:

  • Participate in the selection, assembly, and testing of components to make sure they meet the company’s specifications for quality and performance.
  • Technical consultants within the design or manufacturing process
  • Provide input for our quality management regarding the component specifications and screening, and you will participate in the negotiation of the formal approval of them with our customers.

 

Production and Process Engineering:

  • Planning the production processes of electronic boards and assemblies
  • Characterizing acceptance test workflows including functional and environmental tests.
  • Accompanying the production departments while responding to production defects and challenges
  • Technological responsibility in electronic field projects

 Requirements

  • +3 years of experience in the field of electronics, production of systems (boxes), electronic cards – Must
  • Experience in characterizing and developing automated tests for hardware.
  • Familiarity with electronic component manufacturers, manufacturing technologies and components’ electrical and physical properties.
  • Familiarity with reading and understanding system schematic drawings.
  • Must have a very systematic approach and be focused on finding the optimal solutions: technically, financially and with respect to quality requirements.
  • Self-motivated and persistent enough to work on very long-term projects with extreme requirements.
  • Experience in the field of production engineering – an advantage.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods for electronic boards and assemblies – an advantage
  • Background in integrated systems and RF – an advantage

What you will be doing​

  • Design and develop state-of-the-art communication algorithms.
  • Key contributor to modem and MAC architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Conduct and lead algorithm research, including theoretical analysis and simulations.
  • Lead technical reviews with key stakeholders to present algorithms and system design approaches.
  • Work closely with System, RF, HW, SW teams to lead high-impact technical decisions about system design and implementation.

​Requirements

  • ​Background in modem development for wireless systems.
  • Experience in DSP algorithms design and development with a preference for communication systems applications.
  • Experience with MATLAB for algorithm development, modeling, simulation, and performance evaluation.
  • Experience with synchronization methods, RF front-end architectures, channel estimation, encoding/decoding, error correction, PHY & MAC design.
  • Sc./M.SC./PHD in Electronics Engineering or equivalent with emphasis on signal processing.
  • Highly motivated, team player driven to achieve high-quality results.
  • Problem solver.

​ Advantages

  • Experience with array processing, multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO), and multi-user processing.
  • Experience in the development of systems for space.
  • Background in space communication protocols.
  • Background in mmWave system design.
  • Experience in fixed point modeling using DSP C/C++ and/or Python.
  • Experience in communication lab work and automation (digital scope, spectrum analyzer etc.).
  • Space enthusiast.

What you will be doing

  • Be part of the verification Team
  • Plan & implement UVM verification environments
  • Interact with Architecture, Design, SW and Validation teams
  • Define new DV methodologies and improve existing ones
  • Work on both ASIC and FPGA Space system projects

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Design Verification
  • System Verilog UVM proficiency
  • Solid experience in formal verification / emulation / PCIE verification / FPGA – Advantage
  • Scripting knowledge and passion – Advantage
