We are looking for a skilled and experienced SATCOM System Engineer to join our innovative team. This role is essential for the successful development of our state-of-the-art satellite communication systems.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in developing digital telecom systems and have an in-depth understanding of telecom for space applications, RF, and signal processing. As a SATCOM System Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge space telecom technologies that transform how we communicate in space. Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, you will ensure the deployment of reliable, low-power, state-of-the-art spaceflight systems that meet the highest standards of performance and durability.

What you will be doing​

  • Lead and participate in the system engineering process for advanced satellite communication systems, including requirements definition, architecture design, and system validation.
  • Develop and optimize digital telecom embedded systems to support satellite applications.
  • Perform detailed system-level analyses, simulations, and trade studies to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate storage, processing, and connectivity capabilities into satellites.
  • Take part in the development of the payload RF frontend and contribute on signal processing algorithms tailored for space applications.
  • Ensure comprehensive testing, validation, and verification of systems to meet regulatory and industry standards.
  • Monitor system performance and provide troubleshooting support for deployed systems, ensuring mission success.
  • Document and maintain thorough records of design processes, test results, and system performance.

​Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of satellite communication systems.
  • Knowledge of digital communication principles and satellite communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with antenna systems, RF propagation, and modulation techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex communication systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

We are looking for a talented Solution Architect who is passionate about designing, building, and implementing solutions for complex communication space missions. He/she will be responsible for managing the technology evaluation, validation, solution architecture, and design stages in our program process. What you will be doing

• Lead customers in requirement gathering, definition, designing, and hands-on system implementation

• Ensure successful delivery of our space communication systems throughout the entire program lifecycle

• Work with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and needs

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with systems engineering related role to RF payloads, satellite communication, and/or digital payloads.

• Preferred 5-10 years of experience in similar role with space technology, wireless communication, telecommunications, networking, or computing

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related technical degree

• Demonstrated success as a technical lead for complex system architecture

• Will-do attitude for resolving problems, programming, complexity analytics and large-scale system design

• Experience working with on-board digital payloads and/or processors

• Experience working with customers in all stages of the program lifecycle

• Exceptional presentation and written communication skills

• Experience in requirements management tools, such as Atlassian, DOORS, or other related software

What you will be doing​

Management and control of the global quality tasks performed by the quality engineering disciplines:

  • Provide advice, guidance, and training as needed to ensure product realization activities and documentation meet quality system requirements.
  • Review engineering and test documents to ensure they meet Ramon.Space quality system requirements are consistent with applicable regulations, standards, and customer requirements.
  • Participate in product and process risk analysis activities.
  • Programs’ quality and reliability requirements management.
  • Control of programs ‘external suppliers and suppliers’ qualification as needed.

What you will be doing

Production Tester Design:

  • Writing technical HW and SW requirements specifications for the development and production of automatic tester
  • Management of subcontractors in the test development process including accompanying and participating in engineering surveys

Components Engineering:
