We are looking for an Embedded Linux SW Engineer to work with the state-of-the-art technologies, design, and architecture of Ramon.Space communication systems.
What you will be doing
- Design and develop Ramon Space communication systems.
- Develop a Linux-based embedded system.
- Design and implement the software stack across all layers – from low-level drivers to product-level applications. Mostly in Linux user-space.
Requirements
- B.Sc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of R&D experience in C/C++
- Experience with embedded Linux user-space SW stack and Yocto/Buildroot.
- Excellent teamwork skills, ability for independent work while maintaining clarity and visibility, proactive approach, and drive to influence and contribute.
- Experience with writing SW design documents and unit testing.
Advantages
- Knowledge of ARM processor architectures.
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python), and version control SW like Git.
- Previous experience with new board bring-up and building of a BSP.
- Experience with telecommunications systems and modems (wireless and wired).
- Experience with Xilinx toolchains and ecosystems.
- Experience with Linux Kernel SW development
