Ramon.Space Demonstrates Space Computing Technology at 2022 Small Satellite Conference

The company’s advanced computing platform will power AI/ML data-driven space applications

Los Altos, Calif. — July 26, 2022 Ramon.Space, the leader in space resilient computing infrastructure, announced today that it will showcase the company’s robust space computing platform alongside partners at the 36th Annual Small Satellite Conference in Logan, Utah between August 8th and 11th. The live partner demonstrations will feature data-driven space applications running on the Ramon.Space radiation hardened computing platform in the Fieldhouse booth #165.

On Tuesday, August 9th at 3:30pm MT at the DBH Center, Presidents Hall, Ramon.Space will host a panel session along with its partners on the need for an advanced computing and storage infrastructure to enable tailored mission applications.

The live demonstrations will showcase advanced data processing via Ramon.Space’s in-house DSP IC, alongside the NuStream storage solution, provides a true software-empowered system purpose-built for space. Each demonstration will showcase concrete examples of how satellite service providers can run AI and ML applications efficiently on their spacecraft. Partner companies include market leaders in innovative deep technology, next-gen AI-powered computer vision, immersive technology services and space robotics navigation systems.

Partner demonstrations include:

Lulav Space – Lulav Space offers vision-aided autonomous navigation and space robotics solutions. The demo will show the implementation of computer vision algorithms in the development of a landing sensor, powered by Ramon.Space computing infrastructure for an upcoming lunar landing mission.

AIKO – AIKO develops state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence for space applications, focusing on mission autonomy and autonomous operations. The demo will show a land classification simulation on an earth observation mission, optimized on Ramon.Space platform.

Spaceshift – Spaceshift develops SAR satellite data processing technologies with AI, its advanced and unique technologies contribute to the realization of sustainable human activities. The demo will show technologies for newly constructed building detections, oil slick detection, and other various satellite imagery analysis with AI, running on Ramon.Space platform.

Mobius Labs – Mobius Labs provides computer vision-based applications that can be trained with considerably less data and deployed into various hardware using the Mobius Labs SDK. This demo will show how an image classification application can run onboard Ramon.Space hardware.
